The candidate's responsibilities will include systems analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation. As a Tech Lead the candidate will have technical leadership responsibilities, including directing and mentoring of junior members, technical design, and implementation management.

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:
Ideally, a University or College degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Strong qualifications as outlined below will be considered in the absence of this educational requirements

Minimum 8 years java development experience.
Experience with Java SE, Java EE, XML (JAXP, JAXB)
Experience with Web Services ( JAX-WS, JAX-RPC) and Web (Servlet, JSP, JSF)
Experience with JDBC, JPA, Hibernate and Spring Framework including Sping AOP
Solid object oriented design experience applying design best practices, including SOA and WSDL/xsd design
Solid knowledge of Websphere (5, 6, 7), ideally including XD or VE
DBMS knowledge required in Oracle, SQLServer and DB2 (Distributed and Z/OS)
Ability to evaluate tools/frameworks and recommend appropriate solutions.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical/documentation skills
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
Ability to work in a ongoing changing environment
Ability to work both in teams and individually
Ability to lead and mentor others
Knowledge and experience on Wealth Management projects would be an asset
