Provide technical expertise for medium to highly complex projects/initiatives as they relate to the implementation and support of application and/or infrastructure technology in a multi platform environment.

• Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for support of applications. Identify root cause and defining actions to eliminate recurrance.
• Monitor and analyze supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions.
• Coordinate and/or execute implementation plans for new medium to highly complex application and maintenance updates .
• Evaluate service requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes, identifying inconsistencies, analyzing potential impact and taking appropriate action.

• Advanced administrator level knowledge of the File Transmission methodologies and tools (Tumbleweed)
• Advanced administrator level knowledge of the Enterprise Scheduling methodologies and tools (Autosys)
• Thorough knowledge of the monitoring methodologies and tools (NetIQ)
• Thorough understanding and hands on experience of current operating systems (Windows, UNIX), network configurations & services, routing and related protocols and how they apply to the supported applications.
• Thorough understanding of relational databases with hands on experience (Oracle, SQL, Sybase).
• Thorough knowledge and experience of both legacy and emerging technologies such as Weblogic, Websphere, SunOne.

• Application Maintenance--Knowledge of and experience with defining, implementing changes to, and supporting a production application.

• Production Control--Knowledge and utilization of production scheduling, control procedures and maintaining of processing service deliverables.
