Intermediate IT Solutions Developer

Emphasis on Java/J2EE, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL, SSIS, VB, .NET and VBA. The team additionally interacts with a variety of vendors, by building real-time interfaces and other trading related components.

•Rapid software delivery of strategic business initiatives and projects (agile development)
•Dedication and expert knowledge when assisting in the releases of enhancements/upgrades to the existing systems and ability to perform configuration changes as pertained to application deployment and upgrade schedules
•Ability to work well in a team environment (knowledge sharing, teamwork)
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
The candidate should possess majority of the following skills:
•Languages: .NET( a must have), Java(required), HTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL,Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, ODBC(a must), JDBC, Web Services, Struts
•Database: SSIS, Stored Procedures, MS SQL Server 2005 (a must have)
•Platforms Windows, Linux
•Programming OOAD(a must have) , Networking
•Tools Eclipse, MS Visual Studio
•Financial services experience is an asset, with emphasis on Ticketing, Reporting, Trade Settlement and Confirmation processing
•Applied knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies is required

Specific Educational Requirements / Accreditations:
•College / University degree - computer science/business or equivalent work experience.
•Canadian Securities Course completion is an asset
